The closest I could find is this Final Fantasy XIV strategy guide. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised – not only with the content it contains for marauders, but the overall quality and level of detail.

The people responsible for the FFXIV guide have beta-tested the game and have been there and done that. They know the game in and out and are now sharing that information. This Final Fantasy XIV guide is suitable for both beginners and expert players. The guide does an excellent job on telling you how to level, how to do quests, explain the guild system, explain the armory system, and much more. Basically if you missed out your chance in the closed-beta portion of the game, then this guide will give you a leg up amongst the rest of the players.

The leveling tips and strategies offered by this guide are exceptional. The ideal leveling spots and monsters that the guide points out are valid and you will indeed level up much quicker. Depending on your class whether you are a marauder, puglist, or archer this guide will tell you what skills to use and what monster to attack to get the most efficient amount of experience. This guide is highly recommended for understanding how to make gil and identifying what drops to look out for so that you may sell it for a high price at the auction house. The guide goes into great detail about the guild system. It does a great job in making the concept of guild system easy to understand. It will tell you how to attract guilds, so that you can be wanted anytime and anywhere. It will also tell you how to start your own guild.

The FFXIV guide is thorough and concise. It will help you avoid wasted time and effort and basically tell you the best strategy to use in a given situation. So whether you are a gladiator or thaumaturge, this guide will definitely help in your leveling and questing of this game. The Final Fantasy XIV guide even offers free updates after you purchase the guide. You’ll be updated on any new strategy or tip that comes out in the future. If you want to save time and frustration from self-experimentation and learn tips and strategies that will make playing the game much easier, then this guide will be well worth your time.

Throughout history marauder has been a rover, a raider, a pillager and a fiend. The marauder is a vulture, a plunderer and a hellion, roaming the land in search of ample booty. He is like the autumn wind, blustering through villages, crumpling and flattening the dead in its wake like a pile of dead leaves.

As described in Final Fantasy XIV guide, the Marauder is a similar instrument of war. It is one of the five disciplines of melee combat, including FFXIV Archers(bows), FFXIV Lancers(spears and lances), FFXIV Pugilists(claws and metal knuckles, and FFXIV Gladiators(swords and shields). The Final Fantasy XIV Marauder employs use of the Great Axe, which historically has been associated with berserkers, but seldom used by Final Fantasy heroes, outside of the notable Rune Axe and Ogrekiller. In Final Fantasy XI, the Great Axe was used primarily by warriors and beastmasters. In the world of Hydaelyn, however, the Great Axe is synonymous with Eorzean pirates, bandits who roam the Aldenard continent in search of treasure. Whether using the single bladed War Axe or the double bladed Labrys, the Marauder can create maximum mayhem with every swivel.

A Marauder is known for their ferocity, which makes them often recruited for hunts, helping to rid the land of monsters and dangerous beasts. They have been employed as mercenaries, credited with turning the tide in feudal wars with nothing more than single, fearsome swing. Yet the Final Fantasy XIV Marauder is not limited to traditional melee and close range combat, with throwing axes like the Iron, Brass, Bronze and Silver Francisca in their ancillary arsenal; nor are they limited to a specific race, from towering Roegadyn warriors to the menacing munchkin Lafalell, because the marauder does not swing a blunt instrument like a dumb, jabbering beast. He uses the axe with control and precision, maximizing the effect of every blow.

Marauder Abilities
Bloodbath – Converts damage from a successful attack into hit points
Disorient – Fling dust, soil, or sand at a target, reducing the its evasion. Effect may stack up to three times.
Enduring March – Enables movement at reduced speed while bound. Maintains steadfast stance while active and moving.
Murderous Intent – Increases critical hit chances at the expense of TP generation
Defender – Increases defense while reducing attack power. Also increases enmity generation while engaged in a steadfast stance.

Weapon Skills
Skull Sunder – Strike the enemy in the skull, dealing slash damage and increasing attack power. Deals further damage over time, attacks enemies within a cone while in steadfast stance.
Trunksplitter – Deliver a chopping blow, dealing slash damage and increasing attack power. Power is further increased against Seedkin.
Brandish – Strike enemies nearby, dealing slash damage and increasing attack power.
Iron Tempest – Spin your axe wildly, dealing wind damage to nearby enemies and increasing attack power.
